We’re looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to help us measure and manage our business by producing accurate and timely financials as well as supporting reports and analysis – all so we can better support the communities we serve.

- Perform complex accounting tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
- Be the primary backup for accounts payable and receivable, and payroll. May occasionally process vendor invoices, expense reports, and ensure accurate coding and approvals
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, often against multiple dimensions
- Be the primary owner of the company’s use of its chosen financial accounting software, including for financial compilation, analysis, budgeting, and reporting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in implementing changes to increase efficiency and accuracy in financial operations, both manual processes and within software platform(s.)
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and provide support as needed.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. MBA a plus
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, etc…) Experience with Sage Intacct a strong plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with outstanding Excel skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Some supervisory experience a plus
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical financial practices

Judith Saraf joined Arbor in 2023 as the Human Resources Manager, responsible for overseeing HR functions and teams. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Plymouth State University and brings with her over 27 years of Human Resources related experience and knowledge working in the healthcare and hospitality fields. Judith has assisted companies streamline and implement HRIS systems, lead organizations through the shift to consumer driven health plans, executed talent management strategies including recruitment and retention initiatives and has many years of experience with internal employee and labor relations. She has a passion for employee engagement with creative programs and is one of many things she looks forward to bringing to the Arbor team. When not at work, she enjoys painting, and spending time with her husband and 3 sons. Judith also enjoys volunteering with “A Wish Come True” - a nonprofit that delivers wishes to critically ill children in Southeastern MA and Rhode Island.
