Arbor Associates is growing, and we’re adding a Part-Time On-Call Coordinator to support our expanding operations. This is a critical, behind-the-scenes role that keeps our clients supported and our field staff set up for success—especially when it matters most. If you’re someone who thrives in fast-moving situations, communicates clearly, and takes ownership, this is a strong opportunity to plug into a mission-driven team.

What You’ll Do
You’ll serve as the first point of contact during on-call hours, ensuring urgent staffing needs are handled quickly and professionally.

  • Respond to urgent calls from clients and field staff (late arrivals, call-outs, coverage gaps, etc.)
  • Triage issues, problem-solve in real time, and escalate when needed
  • Coordinate staffing coverage and communicate updates clearly
  • Document all activity accurately in Arbor systems
  • Support timesheet reminders and payroll deadline communication
  • Maintain consistent, high-level customer service across all interactions

Schedule & Availability

  • Primary shifts: Friday & Saturday, 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM (EST)
  • Additional coverage: Weeknights (5:00 PM – 8:00 AM), weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to respond to urgent calls within 15 minutes


What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication skills (phone + written)
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and decisive under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet and a dedicated home workspace are required


Compensation

  • 1099 contract position
  • $125 stipend (weeknights)
  • $100 stipend (weekends)


Additional Expectations

  • Participate in monthly team meetings, training, and supervision (virtual)
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all client and employee information

Job Requirements

On-Call Coordinator – Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, office support, or scheduling
  • Ability to multitask without sacrificing quality or attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently and making real-time decisions
  • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
  • Ability to effectively engage with a diverse population of clients and employees
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and standard business systems/technology


Compensation & Classification

  • 1099 contract position
  • $125 stipend (weekdays) / $100 stipend (weeknights & weekends)

Judith Saraf joined Arbor in 2023 as the Human Resources Manager, responsible for overseeing HR functions and teams. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Plymouth State University and brings with her over 27 years of Human Resources related experience and knowledge working in the healthcare and hospitality fields. Judith has assisted companies streamline and implement HRIS systems, lead organizations through the shift to consumer driven health plans, executed talent management strategies including recruitment and retention initiatives and has many years of experience with internal employee and labor relations. She has a passion for employee engagement with creative programs and is one of many things she looks forward to bringing to the Arbor team.  When not at work, she enjoys painting, and spending time with her husband and 3 sons. Judith also enjoys volunteering with “A Wish Come True” - a nonprofit that delivers wishes to critically ill children in Southeastern MA and Rhode Island.
