Job Title: Contract LPN – 13-Week Assignment

Overview:
Arbor Associates is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13-week contract assignment at a Pedicatric Program in Belchertown, MA. This program provides intensive residential mental health services for children, offering a highly structured and supportive clinical environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an LPN with behavioral health or pediatric experience who is looking for a consistent weekend-focused schedule and meaningful work.
Schedule Options:
  • Option 1: Friday & Saturday – Third Shift (Overnight)
  • Option 2: Saturday & Sunday – Every Other Weekend, First & Second Shift Double
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to pediatric residents in a residential treatment setting
  • Administer medications and monitor for effectiveness and side effects
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, behavioral staff, and physicians
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Respond to medical and behavioral health needs in a calm, professional manner
  • Support a safe, therapeutic environment for children
Assignment Details:
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Location: Belchertown, MA
  • Setting: Clinically Intensive Residential Treatment Program (CIRT)
  • Start Date: ASAP / Flexible

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Active Massachusetts LPN license (required)
  • Previous experience in behavioral health, pediatrics, or residential care preferred
  • Strong communication and crisis management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
