Adult Services Nursing Director (RN)
Location: Rhode Island
Salary: $104,000 annually
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

An established, mission-driven human services organization is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Director to oversee clinical operations across adult residential and community-based programs. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centered care while developing strong clinical teams and driving meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic clinical leadership and supervision to RNs, LPNs, and healthcare coordination staff
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, compliant, and person-centered nursing services across programs
- Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QA/QI) initiatives to enhance care outcomes
- Oversee medication administration systems and specialized clinical procedures
- Collaborate with program and operational leadership to align clinical services with organizational goals
- Direct nursing operations, including staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and performance management
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, fostering a culture of accountability, engagement, and professional growth
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support continuous clinical oversight

Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Rhode Island)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree (MSN) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including progressive leadership responsibility
- Demonstrated experience overseeing clinical teams and multi-site operations preferred
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, quality improvement practices, and person-centered care models
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
