Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Weekend Per Diem/Float
Location: Great Barrington, MA
Pay: $25.00/hour

We're seeking compassionate, dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in Great Barrington, MA. This is a per diem/as-needed position primarily covering all weekend shifts, with occasional weekday opportunities as staffing needs arise.
This unique float position supports both our adult and youth residential programs located on the same campus, so flexibility and confidence working with individuals of varying ages and support needs is essential.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, person-centered care to adults and youth with developmental and behavioral needs.
- Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, toileting, feeding, and mobility.
- Support adults requiring total care.
- Implement behavioral support strategies while maintaining a safe, positive environment.
- Encourage independence and community participation whenever appropriate.
- Complete documentation accurately and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team.
- Follow all safety, health, and program policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience working as a DSP, CNA, HHA, PCA, or in a similar human services role preferred.
- Must be comfortable providing total care to adults (feeding, toileting, & bathing)
- Must be comfortable supporting challenging behaviors among both children and adults.
- Must be willing and able to work in both the youth and adult programs as needed.
- Must be able to successfully pass an EEC background check.
- Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic are required.
Schedule
- Per Diem / As Needed
- All weekend shifts available (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts)
- Occasional weekday shifts may become available
- Schedule released weekly or every two weeks, based on staffing needs
Pay & Benefits
