Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Adult Residential Program
Location: Clinton, CT
Shifts Available: 2nd Shift & Overnights

We're seeking compassionate individuals in Clinton and the surrounding areas to become Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). This position supports individuals in a residence where a female staff member is required to meet the personal privacy and care needs of the individuals served. This role empowers you to:

Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a residential setting.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
- Support individuals with community outings, recreational activities, and daily routines.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques and follow behavior support plans as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive home environment.
- Respond appropriately to behavioral or medical situations following agency policies.
- Work collaboratively with coworkers and communicate effectively with supervisors.

Job Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Direct Care or Human Services, or in roles like CNA, Residential Counselor, HHA, Mental Health Worker, Caregiver, childcare worker, PCA, or similar.
- Willingness to obtain additional on-the-job training in Branford on 1st shift
- Comfortable providing personal care, including feeding, bathing, and toileting assistance.
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
