Arbor Associates is seeking passionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate care and hands-on assistance to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, including those with behavioral challenges. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by working directly with students in a classroom setting alongside lead teachers.
Position Details:
- Location: School settings in Great Barrington, MA, and surrounding areas
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Ages Served: 8 – 22 years old

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist lead teachers in directly supporting students with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
- Aid students with hands-on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor, document, and report student progress and behaviors.
- Implement individualized support plans and behavioral interventions as directed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges and developmental or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
- Preferred but not required: MAP & SafetyCare (QBS) training.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities.
- Reliable transportation is required.
