Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Part-Time / Per Diem – Overnight Shifts – Methuen, MA
Arbor Associates is seeking part-time, per diem Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to cover overnight shifts in Methuen, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate individuals who want to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a flexible schedule.
Position Overview
This role involves supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or mental health needs in residential settings. Overnight DSPs ensure a safe and stable environment during nighttime hours, providing care and support as needed.
Shift Type: Overnight (typically 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: Per diem, part-time – work when it fits your availability - Last-minute availability a must
Location: Methuen, MA
Setting: Group homes or similar residential programs
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and support individuals overnight to ensure safety and comfort
Assist with bedtime routines, hygiene, and mobility as needed
Respond to any nighttime needs or emergencies calmly and appropriately
Perform light housekeeping and documentation
Promote a supportive, structured overnight environment
Job Requirements
Requirements
At least 6 months of experience in direct care or human services (e.g., CNA, HHA, PCA, Residential Counselor, Caregiver)
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Reliable transportation
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Judith Saraf
Human Resources Manager
Judith Saraf joined Arbor in 2023 as the Human Resources Manager, responsible for overseeing HR functions and teams. She holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Plymouth State University and brings with her over 27 years of Human Resources related experience and knowledge working in the healthcare and hospitality fields. Judith has assisted companies streamline and implement HRIS systems, lead organizations through the shift to consumer driven health plans, executed talent management strategies including recruitment and retention initiatives and has many years of experience with internal employee and labor relations. She has a passion for employee engagement with creative programs and is one of many things she looks forward to bringing to the Arbor team. When not at work, she enjoys painting, and spending time with her husband and 3 sons. Judith also enjoys volunteering with “A Wish Come True” - a nonprofit that delivers wishes to critically ill children in Southeastern MA and Rhode Island.
