Job Title: Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Front Desk
Location: Middletown, RI
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First and Second Shifts
Overview:
Arbor Associates is seeking a reliable and adaptable Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a program in Middletown, RI. This hybrid role combines front desk responsibilities with direct care support, making it a great fit for someone who enjoys both administrative coordination and hands-on client interaction. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable shifting between responsibilities as program needs evolve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact at the front desk, greeting visitors, answering phones, and directing inquiries
- Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and guests
- Support administrative tasks including documentation, scheduling support, and general office coordination
- Provide direct care support to individuals in the program, including assistance with daily living activities and engagement
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with program and state requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care and coverage
- Step into DSP shifts as needed to support program operations
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Previous DSP experience or experience in human services preferred
- Comfortable balancing administrative/front desk duties with direct care responsibilities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
- CPR/First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
