Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Behavioral & Medical Focus
Multiple Shifts Available | Growth Opportunity


**This role requires a Medication Administration Certification through DDS**

We’re partnering with an incredible program that supports individuals with significant behavioral and medical needs—and they’re looking for experienced, reliable professionals who can step in and make an immediate impact. This isn’t an entry-level environment. It’s a setting where your experience, instincts, and training truly matter.


Shifts Available: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
  • Saturdays & Sundays: 8:30AM-8:30PM
  • Mondays & Fridays: 2:30PM-7:30PM
  • Sundays, Mondays, & Thursdays: 3PM-10:30PM
  • Tuesdays & Wednesdays: 3PM-7:30PM
  • Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Fridays: 3-10:30PM
  • Thursdays: 10:30PM-9:30AM
  • Fridays & Saturdays: 10:30PM-8:30AM
  • Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays: 7AM-3PM

What you bring to the table: Direct Support Professional (DSP)

  • Solid experience working with individuals with significant behavioral challenges (this is key)
  • Medication Administration Certification (required)
  • Background in Direct Care, Human Services, or similar roles (DSP, CNA, HHA, Residential Counselor, Mental Health Worker, Caregiver etc.)
  • Confidence in managing behaviors using structured interventions and de-escalation techniques
  • CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs

You’ll also need to be comfortable completing required trainings (Safety Care, CPI/PMT, etc.) and passing a comprehensive background check.

Job Requirements

  • Medical certification
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in Direct Care or Human Services, or in roles like CNA, Residential Counselor, HHA, Mental Health Worker, Caregiver, childcare worker, PCA, or similar.  
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.  
  • Willingness to obtain additional on-the-job training in Crisis Prevention Intervention (PMT) techniques, Medication Administration, or Safety Care as required for each worksite.  
  • Reliable transportation & active, valid driver's license  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  
  • Ability to pass extensive background screening, with agencies like the DCF.  
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as the role requires.
