Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Schedule: Flexible (1st, 2nd, and/or weekend shifts based on program needs)
Location: Guilford, CT (with travel to Branford & Clinton)
Type: Per Diem / As-Needed Coverage
Arbor Associates is seeking dependable and experienced Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals in a residential program in Guilford, with additional coverage opportunities in Branford and Clinton. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a behavioral setting and providing full, hands-on support. If you’re steady, adaptable, and not afraid to jump in where needed, this is a strong fit.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide direct care and supervision in a residential setting
- Support individuals with total care needs, including ADLs
- Implement behavior support plans and utilize de-escalation techniques
- Maintain a safe, structured, and respectful environment
- Assist with transportation and community-based activities as needed
- Accurately document shift activity and communicate with team members

Job Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Comfortable supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and total care needs
- Willingness to cross-train and travel between Guilford, Branford, and Clinton
- Experience in human services or residential care preferred
- Strong communication, reliability, and adaptability
