About the Role

We are seeking a Clinical Director to lead and oversee the clinical operations of our substance abuse treatment and recovery programs. This key leadership position ensures that our services meet the highest standards of clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and client-centered care. The Clinical Director will be responsible for supervising a multidisciplinary team, developing treatment protocols, and fostering a culture of compassionate, evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Oversight: Direct and oversee all clinical operations, ensuring high-quality treatment and care.
  • Staff Supervision: Manage, mentor, and support clinical staff, including counselors, therapists, and case managers.
  • Program Development: Enhance and expand treatment programs, incorporating best practices in addiction recovery.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Client-Centered Care: Maintain a trauma-informed, client-first approach to recovery services.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with local organizations, healthcare providers, and stakeholders to strengthen our recovery network.
  • Training & Development: Provide ongoing staff training and professional development opportunities.


Compensation & Benefits

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • Licensed Clinician (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, or equivalent) required.
  • Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in substance use disorder treatment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities for substance use and co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience with state and federal compliance regulations (e.g., CARF, SAMHSA, DPH).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for recovery, harm reduction, and person-centered care.
